We strive to create a fun Ukrainian dance environment with the highest priority placed upon developing the required skills of technique and performance. These skills are essential for those who wish to dance at the highest levels of Ukrainian dance. We share a family environment that is inspirational, educational, and encourages a spirit of interest in Ukrainian dance, Ukrainian culture and dance in general.
Sadochuk: Ages 3-4 year-olds. A pre-beginner rhythm and movement class designed to introduce them on how to keep time to music and performing on stage. Instruction time is 45 minutes per week.
Beginner: Ages 5-10 years of age. There are 3 to 4 different Beginner levels. Dancers learn steps from the Poltavsky region. Instruction time is 1 hour per week.
Junior: Ages 8-11 years of age. Ddancers continue their development of steps from the Poltavsky region and are introduced to the Hutzul region. Instruction time is 1 hr. 15 min. per week
Intermediate: : Ages 9-13 years of age. There is continuation of Poltavsky and Hutzul regions and introduction to Bukovina region. Instruction time is 1 hr. 30 min. per week
Tavrianka 1: Ages 11-15 years of age. There is continuation of Poltavsky, Hutzul and Bukovina regions and introduction to Volyn region. There is an added component of technique/ballet instruction. Instruction time is 3 hours per week.
Tavrianka 2: Ages 13-17 years of age. There is continuation of Poltavsky, Hutzul, Bukovina and Volyn regions and introduction to Transcarpathian region and Gypsy. There is an added component of technique/ballet instruction. Instruction time is 3 hours per week.

To celebrate our achievements and showcase our talents, all classes participate and perform at Tavria's Christmas and Year-End Spring concerts as well as Mosaic. Many dance classes also perform at other venues including seniors homes. Ensemble and both Tavrianka 1 and 2 perform at Malanka each year. Most classes compete at Tavria's annual dance festival.
